Workshop Description:

Are you interested in the heart? Do you know what it takes to become a Cardiologist? Do you know how to start from Community College? Do you know the steps to take to success?
Then come hear and learn from Dr. Sandher’s journey to Cardiology and his wisdom about what he did at community college, undergrad, and medical school.

About the Speaker:

Dr. Sandher was raised in Northern California’s Sacramento region. After graduating high school, he attended Sierra College in Rocklin, CA. He subsequently transferred to UC Davis, where he completed his Bachelor of Science in Neurology, Physiology, and Behavior. While at UC Davis, he was heavily involved in research and on the leadership team at UC Davis Pre-Health Conference, the largest pre-health conference in the country.
He was accepted to Albert Einstein School of Medicine in New York City, where was able to take care of large population of underserved in Bronx and Jamaica Plains.
He was subsequently matched in Internal Medicine at Cedar Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, CA. In July 2022, he will continue his fellowship in Cardiology at New York University Hospital Systems in New York City.
In his spare time, he enjoys reading, relaxing, and spending time with his beautiful wife Loveneet, who is a hard-working ICU nurse.
