About the Speaker:
Mr. Gutierrez has been working in education in San Diego for nearly twenty years and recently started working for the UCSD School of Medicine as a Recruitment Admissions Specialist. Most of his experience has been working at San Diego State University (SDSU) with their Educational Opportunity Program (EOP). During his time with EOP at SDSU he worked with prospective and current low-income, first-generation college students from all over the state of California. He is familiar with connecting prospective students to their higher educational goals.
