Join us for “From Community College to Medical School: An Immigrant’s Journey of Overcoming Obstacles and Achieving First-Gen Success”, a powerful and inspiring workshop featuring Arad Arastech, a first-year medical student at the University of Arizona College of Medicine – Phoenix. Arad’s journey from Iran to the United States, from Chandler-Gilbert Community College to medical school, is a testament to resilience, determination, and the power of believing in yourself. Learn firsthand how he overcame obstacles as an immigrant and first-generation college student while actively engaging in research, student leadership, and community service. This is more than just a story—it’s a roadmap for success. Come, listen, and ask questions as Arad shares his experiences and strategies for turning challenges into opportunities. Let his journey inspire your own path to medical school.
