Workshop Description:
Learn what it truly takes to become a competitive dental school applicant at one of the nation’s leading institutions. Join Danielle Tiopo, Coordinator of Outreach and Belonging at the Learner Success Center at UCSF School of Dentistry, for an informative and encouraging session designed for community college and university students who are exploring the path to dentistry. This workshop will help you better understand how to prepare academically, personally, and professionally for the dental school application process. You will gain insight into what makes an applicant stand out, how to strengthen your journey over time, and how to approach the process with clarity and confidence. Whether you are just beginning to explore dentistry or are already planning your next steps, this is your chance to come, ask your questions, and get answers. Come hear directly from the source instead of relying on second-hand advice, bad information, or people who have no clue about the admission process. Leave with greater motivation, a clearer sense of direction, and practical guidance to help you move forward with purpose toward a future in dentistry.
