About the Speaker:
David Chirikian MD, MS is a PGY-1 Internal Medicine Resident at Harbor UCLA Medical Center. Originally from Los Angeles, CA, David is excited to care for the communities that he engaged with and was molded by during his childhood. David received his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Loyola Marymount University in 2014. He later earned his Master of Science degree in Stem Cell Biology and Regenerative Medicine from the University of Southern California in 2016. After completing the Pre-Medicine Post-Baccalaureate Certificate Program in 2018, David earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from California Northstate University College of Medicine in 2023. David’s 13-year non-traditional path to medicine would not have been possible without unwavering support from mentors and peers. David is pursuing his dream career and hopes to pay it forward to the next generation of physicians. He is interested in hospital systems and health education and hopes to improve the quality of care provided to underserved groups.
