Workshop Description:
For community college and university premedical students who dream of earning a white coat but may still wonder what medical school is really like, this student panel offers an honest and inspiring look inside the journey. Medical students from the University of Arizona College of Medicine Phoenix will share their experiences with coursework, clinical training, applications, challenges, mentorship, balance, and the moments that helped them believe medicine was possible. This is your opportunity to hear what the path looks like from students who are living it right now. Come, ask your questions, and get answers about medical school, the application process, student life, preparation, and everything you may be curious or nervous about. Hear directly from the source instead of relying on second hand information, bad advice, or people who have no clue about the admissions process or medical school experience. Whether you are just starting your premed journey or preparing to apply, come ready to learn, connect, and imagine yourself in their place. Their white coats began as dreams too. Yours can become real.
