About the Speaker:
Natasha Hill is an educational advisor and scientific skills coach in the NIH Office of Intramural Training and Education (OITE). Although she enjoys doing research and helping to improve human health, she finds true enjoyment in teaching the next generation of physicians and scientists. Prior to joining OITE in 2023, Natasha was an Independent Research Scholar, directing her own independent research program in Intramural Research Program at the National Institute of Arthritis and Musculoskeletal and Skin Diseases (NIAMS). In the OITE, Natasha provides educational advising for both pre-med and pre-grad fellows in the intramural research program at NIH. Additionally, she directs the College Summer Opportunities to Advance Research (CSOAR) and the Community College Summer Enrichment Program (CCSEP).
Natasha graduated with a bachelor’s degree in chemistry from California State University, San Bernardino and a Doctor of Philosophy in biomedical sciences from Wright State University. She completed her postdoctoral training at the NIH in the Dermatology branch in NIAMS formerly in NCI.
