Director of Admissions
Friday, January 30, 2026
5pm-6:30pm PST
Workshop Description:
Medical school can feel like a moving target, especially when you are balancing classes, work, family, or a nontraditional timeline. Join us for an interactive workshop with Moises Ibarra, MA, Director of Admissions at Roseman University of Health Sciences, to learn how applicants can strengthen their profile from any starting point. He will explain what Roseman looks for in future physicians, how academics are reviewed in context, and how to build momentum through clinical exposure, service, leadership, research, and resilience. You will also hear how Roseman supports students once admitted, and what makes a strong fit there.
This is your chance to hear directly from the source, not second-hand myths or advice from people who do not actually sit in admissions. Bring your questions and get clear, practical answers about course planning, application timing, letters of recommendation, interviews, and how to present your story with integrity. Whether you are at a community college, a four-year university, or a post-bacc program, you will leave with concrete strategies, renewed confidence, and a smarter plan for moving forward.
