About the Speaker:
Amirparsa Ghasemi began his college studies at York University in Toronto, driven by a strong interest in pursuing a pre-dental track. Then he transferred to the University of Maryland, College Park to pursue his bachelor’s degree in Biological Science. He worked as a summer intern through the CCSEP program at the National Institute of Dental and Craniofacial Research, Oral Immunity & Infection Section in summer 2023. He recently published a paper in The Journal of Advanced Prosthodontics. In addition to his ongoing research, he took the DAT exam in the summer of 2024, just before beginning his junior year, and scored 24AA and 27TS. He intends to apply for dental school during the 2025 application cycle.
