About the Speaker:
David Velasquez is an internal medicine/primary care resident physician at Brigham and Women’s Hospital. He holds the distinction of being the first person in history to have obtained graduate degrees from Harvard Medical School, Harvard Business School, and the Harvard Kennedy School of Government. Throughout his career, he has collaborated with organizations across the public, private, and nonprofit sectors, all dedicated to enhancing healthcare access and delivery for vulnerable populations. David is a passionate advocate for these communities, contributing to the discourse through his writing and research, which have been featured in prominent publications such as The Boston Globe, Scientific American, STAT, Health Affairs, JAMA Health Forum, the New England Journal of Medicine Catalyst, and others. He graduated summa cum laude from the University of Southern California with a B.S. in Human Biology. Raised in Los Angeles and the Antelope Valley of California, David is also the son of immigrants.
