What is Pluripotent? Pluripotent is a biological phenomenon in biology where an immature or stem cell gives rise to several mature cell types and organs. The same process happens in humans as we start as children and mature to adults.
Dr. Shapiro will lead this workshop on his personal journey in medicine from undergrad at UCLA and through his training and practice and the various roles he has had. He will also discuss his work as a hospitalist during the numerous natural disasters and fires in Sonoma County since 2017.
